The Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre (FINTRAC) is the official financial intelligence agency of Canada. FINTRAC is a separate entity from Canadian law enforcement and FINTRAC is responsible for monitoring money laundering, terrorist financing and more. They are required to report to the Minister of Finance who is in the Parliament of Canada.
